How do PvPers afford so many BS/HAC/T2 ship losses without having to mine or churn missions 24/7 simple. They go and buy isk. So look at your killboards and find the players who lose the most isk in ships doing PvP, those are most likely your ebayers and timecard sellers. I doubt that. If I wanted, I could make a few hundred millions per week just with ingame activity. Some have the possibility to make over a billion per week with in game stuff and some do it with out-of-game methods and the latter is what I don't like. This is a virtual world, if you are an underdog at the moment, work your way up or live with it like anyone else. Your wealth in real life shouldn't make much of a difference and if you don't have time to play the game and feel unhappy, because others are richer, then don't play. I didn't play badminton for years, although I think I wasn't bad some time ago when I was playing up to 5 times a week. Now new players would 'pwn' me badly I think. Well, i have two possibilities, start to play anyway again and accept it or don't play. Buying a brand new 200 dollar racket won't help to make it easier. And if it wasn't like that, then it would be pointless to play. ( And I have also to pay a monthly fee to my club, if I want to play. So the argument: I pay a monthly fee, so I deserve to win as often as others doesn't count. ) ___________ 'DISCLAIMER: All opinions in this post are provided "as is" and without any warranties.'

Well, I prefer a small illegal market over a big legal in that case. The fear of most people to get banned or scammed limits the number of isk for $$ trades. As a result most people keep on playing the game like it is meant to be played and don't start isk grinding like mad to sell it. And that's more important to me, than the fact that a few persons might really make some money by ebay'ing. I prefer that most people play the game in the spirit of a MMORPG and nothing else. ___________ 'DISCLAIMER: All opinions in this post are provided "as is" and without any warranties.'

(I'm still against it tho ) Time to shard eve, Original-EVE and $$->isk EvE. Would also reduce lag. *edit* ( Think I'd play both, but differently and not at the same time. => more accounts for CCP) ___________ 'DISCLAIMER: All opinions in this post are provided "as is" and without any warranties.'

Edited by: Snake Jankins on 22/11/2005 20:22:03 ok, you have finally convinced me (and the threads in the sales forum). So I'm out of this. The 50-day timecodes for my accounts cost me almost 100 EUR today. Hope that they arrive in time and aren't sold out already. See you in-game earning isk for the gtcs for the next months. Maybe I should steal from macro miners and let them pay my gtcs this way. ___________ 'DISCLAIMER: All opinions in this post are provided "as is" and without any warranties.'
